The deeper meaning of aloha is peace, love and compassion. This timepiece is our way of sharing the aloha spirit and reminds the wearer to be kind, unite, be polite, be humble, and endure.
(Aloha Spirit Law, Section 5-7.5)
We are hoping to inspire you to live with aloha and have plans to share our profit with various charities when feasible. Our donation of a limited edition timepiece helped raise $25,000 for a girls school in Kenya.
Dial: The GMT 40 has a classic, functional, and balanced design. The appliques are accompanied by a round date window at 3 and inner ring GMT with the moon and sun representing 24 and 12 respectively. The result is an original yet classic timepiece.
Case: The 40 mm 316L stainless steel case with screw-down crown was engineered for comfort and water resistance (100M/330 ft). Precision brushed and highly finished polished surfaces accentuate the dial viewed through a domed sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating. At just over 10 mm thick it fits comfortably under any cuff.
Lume: The GMT 40 offers excellent visibility in all conditions, including in the dark, thanks to the application of the highest grade of BGW9 Swiss Super-LumiNova®. BGW9 is white during the day and glows blue-green in the dark.
ETA GMT Movement
The GMT 40 is equipped with a "Top Grade" ETA GMT movement (2893-2) which allows the user to track a second time zone with the GMT hand. The GMT hand travels around the dial once every 24 hours and is independently adjustable to any 24-hour time zone.
The sapphire exhibition case back showcases the highly decorated automatic movement with blue screws and bespoke oscillating rotor featuring the Flower of Life. "Top Grade" ETA movements have higher quality components for better shock resistance and longevity.
